Deodorant is a sensitive thing! No one wants to feel smelly or sticky, right? Making the switch to nontoxic deodorant can be really intimidating. Especially if you try one that did not seem to work.
I recently read this article where Tara Foley (CEO and founder of Follain) explained, “When a woman tries a conventional product that doesn’t work, she moves on. But if she tries a clean product that doesn’t work, she’s going to believe that all clean products don’t work,”. Which I found fascinating! The benefits of feeding our skin healthy, nourishing ingredients are huge. Your skin, your environment and your community will be healthier if you choose products that do not contain harmful ingredients. Replacing your conventional deodorant with a clean deodorant is the perfect place to start.
If you have tried clean deodorant before and was not a fan, I implore you to try it again. Our armpits cradle lymph nodes and glands and if we choose products with chemicals, these toxic ingredients soak into our skin. By using clean deodorant we are helping our bodies stay safe and healthy. Please check out the list of deodorants below for some ideas on what to use.
